NSCDC Arrests Suspect Connected to Crude Oil Theft

Delta State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has arrested eight suspects in connection with crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism.

A statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Emeka Peters Okwechime, revealed that the suspects were arrested along the Warri Sapele Road.

The statement added that the arrested suspects would be charged to Court upon conclusion of investigation.

Police arrests POS Fraudster in Anambra

Anambra State Police Command has arrested a man who allegedly uses charms to defraud POS operators in Awka, the State Capital. The Command’s Spokesperson, Toochukwu Ikenga, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, noted that the fraudster, Chisom Nweke, confessed to the crime. The statement noted there are suspicions that Nweke worked with a syndicate comprising other members, and efforts are being made to arrest other gang members.
