Ohanaeze Seeks Bail for Ekweremadu

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has appealed to the United Kingdom Authorities to grant bail to detained former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

A statement issued by the National President of the Organization, Okwu Nnabuike, begged the UK Authorities to consider the health condition of Ekweremadu.

The statement urged the UK Court to reconsider its stand on the matter in order to avoid a double jeopardy.

Recall that the Lawmaker had been in detention after he was charged alongside his wife for alleged organ harvesting.
