NAPTIP Identifies Trans Border Traffic Sources

The National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, has identified Border States as source, transit and destination points for human trafficking in the country.

Director-General of NAPTIP, Fatima Waziri Azi, stated this in on Wednesday in Taraba State.

Fatima noted that the Agency discovered that human traffickers lured their victims abroad, under the guise of seeking greener pasture for organ transplant.

The Director called on the State government to reduce the high rate of the menace which is fast becoming an epidemic.
