Some civil Servants, Teachers in Primary and Secondary School in Imo State have decried the irregular payment and outrageous salary deduction.
In an interview with Boss Radio Correspondent, a Primary School Teacher, who pleaded Anonymity, revealed that the payment formality is not transparent.
Also speaking, the State Universal Basic Education Board, IMSUBEB, and sub-Treasury stated that the board does not know the people responsible for the computation and payment of teacher’s salary.
However, a staff of the State Audit Department, revealed that all state payroll unit has remind redundant since the present administration.
Tennis star Novak Djokovic has announced that he will not be able to travel to New York City for the US Open. The tournament, the last Grand Slam of the year, is set to kick off next week. Djokovic played in last year’s US Open and made it to the final of the men’s singles.
