GDP Grows by 3.54% in Q2 2022

The National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, says Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, grew by 3.54 per cent in the second quarter of 2022 on a year-on-year basis.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Executive Officer of NBS, Semiu Adeniran, ON Friday in Abuja.

Semiu said in nominal terms, aggregate GDP stood at N45 trillion in the second quarter of 2022.

NBC Suspends Shutdown of Indebted Broadcast Stations

The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has suspended the shutdown of the indebted Broadcast Stations in the Country. NBC Director General, Balarabe Ilelah, announced the suspension in a statement issued on Friday. The statement noted that the decision to suspend its initial shutdown of the indebted stations followed the responses received from the affected stations.
