ASUU Challenges Federal Government

The University of Abuja Branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities has challenged the Federal government to mention any of the things done to bring to an end the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Union.

The Union’s Branch Chairman, Kassim Umaru, stated this during an interview with newsmen at the end of its Congress, held at the University.

According to Umaru, the Congress deliberated on issues around the strike and vehemently rejects the offer presented by the government,

The Chairman, however, noted that the National Executive Council would meet on Sunday to take its decision.
