Ondo Sate Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has revealed that one of the five arrested suspects of Owo massacre is not one of the attackers.

Akeredolu, who made the clarification in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, stated that there was a mix-up by the Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor.

The statement acknowledged the confusion which the statement had created in the public space, considering that the ugly event preceded the unfortunate incident at Kuje prison.

It, however, urged residents to remain vigilant and give necessary support to security agencies in the state.
