Some Abia State University Lecturers have raised alarm over 11 months unpaid Salary.
In an interview with Boss Radio News, Chairman of the group who pleaded anonymity, says the arrears were inherited from previous administration.
He stresses that the state government is not doing much to help the state owned university.
Another lecturer, narrates the plight of some lecturers in the institution.
Meanwhile, all efforts to reach the Vice Chancellor of the university proved abortive.
Imo State chapter of Disabled Leadership Forum has called on the state government to create opportunities for people with disability. State Secretary General of the Forum, Kenneth Ugwuegbu, outlines ways government can assist persons with disability. Also speaking, an athlete, Chituru Nwaozuzu, implores the state to fulfill their promise to athletes. For Daniel Duru, creating employment opportunities for them will go a long way.
