The United States has announced a fresh round of military and financial aid to Ukraine.
US Defense Department under Secretary for Policy, Colin Kahl, announced $1bn in military aid, adding that the World Bank will provide $4.5bn in budgetary assistance to the Ukrainian government, financed by the US.
Kahl noted that the United States is committed to continued security assistance for Ukraine as they stand up to Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion.
The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has released results of the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination. Head of Nigeria Office, WAEC, Patrick Areghan, said that the results are being uploaded on the website. Areghan urged Candidates who sat for the examination to access their results on the Council’s results website.
