Federal Government Secures $1.5billion US-backed Loan for Solar Projects

The Federal government has secured a $1.5 billion loan facility from a United States Bank to deliver Solar Power infrastructure in 10 different locations nationwide.

President Muhammadu Buhari, while receiving the delegation of the Company at the Presidential Villa, on Thursday in Abuja noted that Nigeria’s drive to integrate solar power into the country’s energy supply would increase access to electricity in both underserved and unserved communities.
