Ngige Reveals Voluntary Reconciliation to Resolve ASUU Strike

The Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige, has revealed that voluntary reconciliation was adopted to resolve the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Ngige disclosed this at a three-day capacity-building workshop on International Labor Standards and Dispute Resolution in Abuja.

He noted that negotiation was avoided so as not to delay the resolution process with the striking lecturers.
