INEC Extends PVC Collection in Osun

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has extended the collection of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, to July 14 for those interested in exercising their franchise in the Osun Governorship election slated for July 16.

In a statement issued on the Commission’s Twitter page, Chairman of the Commission, Mahmood Yakubu, appealed to all registered voters that are yet to collect their PVCs to seize the opportunity of the additional measures to do so.

Ayade Approves Increase of Salaries for Judiciary Workers

Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has approved the upward review of the salaries and welfare of Judicial Officers in the State. Ayade made the approval during the swearing-in ceremony of the new President of the State Customary Court of Appeal, Anjor Mbe at the Executive Chamber of his office in Calabar, the State Capital. According to the Governor, the new salary package takes effect from August 1, 2022.
