The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has directed the Nigerian Correctional Service to improve its efforts in intelligence gathering.
According to a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Sola Fasure, Aregbesola noted that such information gathered must be acted upon to solve the problem of incessant Custodial Centre attacks.
The statement directed Personnel of the Service to ensure that the Custodial Centers are defended against any form of attacks.
Jigawa State Police Command has warned the newly recruited Personnel to exhibit a high level of professionalism and shun any corrupt practice. State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Tafida gave the warning when he received the 344 new constables deployed to the State Tafida warned them to be disciplined, loyal, and dedicated.
