Nigeria and UK Sign Agreement to Deport Criminals

Nigeria and the United Kingdom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to speed up the deportation of criminals.

Home Secretary, Priti Patel noted that the MoU would tackle illegal migration and the significant threat it poses to both nations.

Patel added that the landmark agreement will increase the deportation of dangerous foreign criminals.

The Secretary stressed that the deal will see offenders receive new travel documents within five working days.
