The National Working Committee, NWC of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has said its National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, has not been suspended from office.
National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this in a statement amid a report that Ayu has been suspended by the NWC.
The statement noted that such report is false and misleading.
It, therefore, called on Party members and the general public to disregard such report.
The Senate has confirmed seven Ministerial nominees sent by President Muhammadu Buhari. The nominees were confirmed on Wednesday following a screening at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly. The development came days after Buhari appointed the Ministers and wrote to the Senate seeking their confirmation.
