Philippines Swear In New Vice President

Daughter of the outgoing President of Philippine, Sara Duterte, has been sworn in as the Country’s 15th Vice President.

Duterte was inaugurated in her hometown of Davao, where she is the outgoing Mayor.

President-elect, Ferdinand Marcos, will take his oath in Manila on June 30.

The Vice President called for national unity and asked Filipinos to emulate the patriotism of the country’s national hero, Jose Rizal.

Enugu Government Train Youths In Agriculture

Enugu state government has sent 260 youths selected from the State to Keffi, Nasarawa State, for a two-week agricultural training. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, Michael Ogbuekwe, said Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is committed to his mission of producing the next generation of agriculture business men and women in the State. Ogbuekwe commended Ugwuanyi for his steadfastness and visionary approach in empowering the youths through agricultural ventures.
