Ekiti State Governorship Candidates has signed a Peace Accord ahead of the poll billed for Saturday.
The Candidates signed the Peace Accord at an event held in Ado-Ekiti under the auspices of the National Peace Committee led by former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar who was represented by the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah.
The accord was signed by the eleven Candidates vying for the Governorship position.
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has said he will relaunch his Presidential ambition in the near future. Bello stated this during an interview with newsmen after he met with the President Muhammadu Buhari in his office on Wednesday in Abuja. He noted that the Presidential race is a test of his might. The Governor urged his followers to support the ruling Party across the board in the upcoming elections.
