The Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of Nigerian Labour Congress, Beatrice Itubo emerged the Governorship Candidate of the Labor Party.
Itubo was declared winner of the primaries after pulling 201 votes out of the 272 delegate votes.
The Governorship Candidate called on residents of the State to secure their Permanent Voters’ Cards in order to vote out bad Leaders.
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has reappointed Chukwuemeka Woke has his Chief of Staff. Woke’s reappointment was announced in a statement issued by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Kelvin Ebiri. Recall that the Governor relieved Woke of his appointment as Chief of Staff when he dissolved the State Executive Council.
