The Federal High Court, Abuja, has upheld the just concluded primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Akwa Ibom State.
In his ruling, the presiding Judge, Obiora Egwatu, urged the parties in the case to help the court accelerate the hearing following the limited judicial time frame for pre-election matters.
Justice Egwuatu, however, adjourned the case to Wednesday, 1st of June, 2022 for further hearing.
Recall that Friday Iwok and 30 others had, challenged the ward congress conducted in the state on April 30, 2022.
Imo residents have expressed their thoughts over Peter Obi’s resignation from presidential race. In an interview with Boss Radio News, Innoncent Okechukwu, a business man, said he supports Obi’s resignation. Chris Okeke, a Civil Engineer had this to say. Recall that the former governor of Anambra state dumped the People’s Democratic Party, on Wednesday.
