The Federal Government has resumed payment of the Conditional Cash Transfer programme across the Six Local Government Areas in Kebbi State.
National Coordinator of the Programme, Halima Shehu, disclosed this when she paid a courtesy visit to the State Governor, Atiku Bagudu in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
Shehu apologized for the delay in the payment which started in September to October 2019, adding it was due to circumstances beyond the government’s control.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has called on all Aspirants vying for the Presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to support whoever emerges as the flag bearer of the Party. Osinbajo made the call during his consultations with Stakeholders and delegates of his Party in Rivers State. According to the Vice President, the best Aspirant should be chosen to lead the Party as its Presidential candidate in 2023.
