Archbishop of Canterbury condemns Deborah’s killing
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has condemned the killing of Deborah Yakubu for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad. Welby, who is the symbolic head of the worldwide Anglican Communion, disclosed this in a series of tweets. He noted that it was disappointing that people were still killing in the name of God. The Archbishop called on the Nigerian government to ensure that religious rights are protected.
