Yobe State Governor, Mai Buni has commiserated with the families of five persons who died from building collapse following heavy rainstorm in Damaturu.
Buni who sympathized with those who sustained injuries, prayed for their quick recovery.
The Governor, however, directed the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, to ensure treatment of those who sustained injuries and to provide the victims with emergency relief materials to cushion their hardship.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that the Presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, should be zoned to the South. Sanwo-Olu stated this on Tuesday after submitting his completed governorship form in Abuja. According to the Governor, for fairness and equity, the ticket should be ceded to the South, particular the South-West.
