A Federal High Court in Abuja has refused to grant a restraining order requested by the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, on his Presidential ambition.
In his ruling, the Presiding Judge, Ahmed Mohammed turned down the request for the order.
Justice Mohammed, however summonsed INEC, and AGF to appear before it on May 12, to show cause on why the request should not be granted to the CBN Governor.
A Popular Nigerian Pastor, Tunde Bakare, has declared his intention to contest the 2023 Presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Bakare made the declaration on Monday during an event in Abuja. The Presidential Aspirant said if elected President, his government will ensure Peace, Progress, Prosperity, and Possibilities.
