Delta State Government has said it is seeking approval from the State House of Assembly for a N150bn loan.
The state’s Commissioner for information, Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this on Wednesday in Asaba, the state capital.
Aniagwu stated that the state would need the loan to secure a bridging facility in order to achieve the objectives.
The commissioner added that the value of what the money could do now would be more in the future.
A court in military-ruled Myanmar has sentenced Aung Kyi to five years in jail. According to reports, the court found the civilian leader guilty in the 11 corruption cases against her and announced her sentence on Wednesday. The report noted that kyi had denied the charges and called the allegations absurd.
