Babalola Urges NBA to Support Call for New Constitution

Elder statesman, Afe Babalola, has urged members of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, to support the call for a new constitution.

Babalola made the call during the 11th Aare Afe Babalola Public Lecture organized by NBA, in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital.

Babalola noted that many countries had used interim governments to solve their problems and came out with new constitution.

He proposed that members of the interim government would include all past living presidents, all past living vice presidents, some governors, some parliamentarians, some ministers and professional bodies and associations.
