Myanmar’s Court sentence Ex-Leader to jail for corruption

A court in military-ruled Myanmar has sentenced Aung Kyi to five years in jail.

According to reports, the court found the civilian leader guilty in the 11 corruption cases against her and announced her sentence on Wednesday.

The report noted that kyi had denied the charges and called the allegations absurd.
