Adamawa Assembly removes Ayuba as member over defection

Adamawa State House of Assembly has removed a member, Ayuba Kwada who defected from the governing Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the main opposition, All Progressives Congress, APC

The Assembly effected the removal of Ayuba at its sitting on Wednesday declaring his seat vacant by relying on Section 109(1g) of the Constitution.

Recalled, Ayuba had last weekend announced his defection from the PDP.
