The acting Governor of Kano State, NasiruGawuna, has restated the state government’s commitment towards ensuring security of lives and property.
Gawuna gave the assurance on Monday, when a delegation from the National Institute for Security Studies paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House.
He revealed that the state government had expanded its security council to accommodate various security agencies.
The acting Governor assured of the continued cooperation and collaboration with the institute, so as to achieve its objectives of security matters.
President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled the family of former Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Alabo Graham-Douglas, who died on Monday. In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, President Buhari sympathized with the Government and people of Rivers State over the death of Graham-Douglas. The statement prayed the Almighty God to comfort his family and grant his soul a peaceful rest.
