A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed by the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Danladi Umar seeking to stop the Senate from probing him on alleged misconduct.

In his ruling, the presiding Judge, Inyang Ekwo, ordered the Umar to appear before the Senate and answer questions on a public petition brought against him by an aggrieved citizen.

Justice Ekwo, however, dismissed the suit for lacking in merit.
