Niegeria’s Electricity Supply Crashes

Nigeria’s electricity supply crashed following a significant downturn in power generated by the Nigerian generating companies.

According to the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, a total of 86,450.66MWh of energy was supplied on Sunday.

Energy supplied on the day under review represents a 9.4% decline compared to the 95,398.71MWh, which was supplied in the previous day and also represents the lowest electricity supply in six days.

Nigeria’s electricity supply has been dwindling in recent weeks, following multiple disruptions of the national grid, causing nationwide blackouts.
