Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the resumption date for all Public and Private Schools in the state.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Rose Bassey, revealed that all schools are to resume on April 25, 2022.
The statement advised Parents and guardians to ensure that their wards return to school on the resumption date.
It wished all pupils, students and teachers a successful academic session.
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has faulted the call for an interim government at the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Uzodinma said the call is not supported by the Nigerian Constitution, stressing it would create a break in continuity. The Governor advised those championing the call for interim government to approach the National Assembly for the constitution to be amended to the effect.
