The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele has ordered the immediate release of N3.5bn rebate to 150 exporters who participated in the Race To $200bn scheme.
This was one of the outcomes of the Bankers’ Committee meeting held on Thursday.
The apex bank had in February revealed that it would pay exporters N65 for every $1 sold into the economy through the Investors &Exporters window.
At least 35 people have died and 71 injured in Zimbabwe when a bus carrying churchgoers veered off the road and landed in a gorge.
