The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Cross River State has said they will appeal the judgment that dismissed their suit against Governor Ben Ayade’s defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
A statement signed by the State Chairman of the Party, Vena Ikem, said proceeding to the Appeal Court would remain an intellectual exploration of the limits and vastness of their jurisprudence.
The statement noted that the PDP will continue to drive the message home that it was the party that was elected in 2019 and not APC.
It urged supporters to remain focused as the bigger picture will only birth after the Supreme Court gives its verdict on all issues related to the matter.
