Federal government to conduct therapy for Ukraine returnees

The Federal Government has conducted a psychosocial trauma therapy session for Nigerians who returned from Ukraine.

The session which was held in Abuja, was organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM in collaboration with the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.

NIDCOM Chairman, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, stressed the importance of offering psychosocial therapy for the returnees, many of whom had suffered different forms of trauma.

Dabiri-Erewa noted that the therapy will be conducted for other returnees across the six geo-political regions in the country.

Court dismisses Kyari’s enforcement rights suit

A Federal High Court in Abuja, has dismissed a rights suit filed by suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, against the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA. Delivering judgement, the presiding judge, Inyang Ekwo dismissed the suit after counsel for the NDLEA, prayed the court to struck out the matter. Justice Ekwo said he was informed that Counsel to Kyari sent a letter, praying the court for an adjournment.
