NURTW sacks Oluomo

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, has sacked Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo as the Lagos state chairman of the union.

The National President of the union, Tajudeen Baruwa confirmed this in a statement.

According to the statement, Oluomo was sacked based on the provisions of the union’s constitution.

It noted that his earlier withdrawal from the union holds no ground, and it is unacceptable to union.

Buhari appoints minister of environment

President Muhammadu Buhari has redeployed Mohammed Abdullahi as the new Minister of Environment. This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha. The statement noted that the redeployment is with effect from 6th April, 2022. Until his appointment, Abdullahi, was the Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation.
