FG issues Interest-Free Loans to 98,000 Nigerians

The Federal Government has said it will give out loans to 98,000 Nigerians in another phase of empowerment programme, under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
This was disclosed, in a statement by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Sadiya Farouq in Abuja.
According to the statement, the empowerment program is a loan payable without interest and not a grant.
It added that all qualified beneficiaries of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme, GEEP 2.0, will soon receive their disbursement alerts.
