Jigawa government approves reduction of working hours

Jigawa State Government has approved the reduction of official working hours in the state by two hours.
A statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service,  Hussaini Kila, said the reduction of the working hours starts from Tuesday after the commencement of Ramadan fasting.
The statement revealed that civil servants in the State are now to report to the office from 9am and close by 3pm then close by 1pm on Fridays.
It stated that the reduction of the working hours is aimed at providing more opportunities to civil servants to prepare for their Ramadan break.
