Federal government calls for action against child labor

The Federal government has called for coordinated actions among stakeholders to fast track the elimination of child labor in Nigeria.
Permanent secretary, Federal Ministry of Labor and Employment, YerimaTarfa, made the call during the flag-off of the capacity-building workshop in Abuja.
Tarfa urged stakeholders to play their assigned roles towards eliminating child labor.
He noted that the reviewed national policy on elimination of child labor will enhance the skills of the participants for effective implementation.
