Federal government urges alcohol manufacturers to consider public health

The Federal Government has called on manufacturers of alcoholic beverages to promote the principles of public health.
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, made the call at a Roundtable in Lagos state.
Ehanire, stated that the Federal Ministry of Health is committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of Nigerians.
The Minister noted that Responsible Beverage Services initiatives would help reduce alcohol consumption in under-age persons and pregnant women.
