The 2023 PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday has blamed President Bola Tinubu’s handling of fuel subsidy for Nigeria’s current economic crisis.

Atiku expressed concern over the recent fuel price hike by the NNPC, which saw petrol prices rise to over N1,000 per litre in Abuja and Lagos.

He criticized Tinubu’s lack of response to the worsening hardship faced by Nigerians, stating that the administration’s poor subsidy management has led to rising inflation and declining living standards across the country.
