EEDC to disconnect indebted customers in south east.

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has threatened to disconnect all the five South East Government Houses, the University of Nigeria, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the Nigerian Army, among others, for failure to clear their accumulated energy bills.
This was contained In a disconnection notice signed on Friday by EEDC.
Other indebted customers that could be disconnected include Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd, Nigeria Prisons Training School, Central Bank of Nigeria offices, Imo Concorde Hotel, Owerri, and Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki.
However the disconnection notice mandated them to clear the bills on or before June 10, 2024 or risk being disconnected.
