53 Dead In Papua New Guinea Tribal Violence

About Sixty-four bloodied bodies have discovered along a stretch of road in Papua New Guinea’s remote highlands, this is after the police on Monday confirmed a gruesome escalation of long-running violence between local warring tribes.
The victims were believed to be tribal fighters who were ambushed by a rival group in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident happened near the town of Wabag, about 600 kilometres (370 miles) northwest of the capital Port Moresby, is said to have occurred between victims believed to be tribal fighters who were ambushed by a rival group in the early hours of Sunday.
While addressing the gruesome situation, Papua New Guinea Prime Minister, James Marape said he had “great concern” about the violence in Enga and urged the warring tribes to lay down their weapons.
