The West African Examinations Council, WAEC on Monday announced that it had ditched the paper and pencil test model and has adopted the Computer-Based Test mode for the conduct of the Senior School Certificate Examination.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the acting head of the Public Affairs Unit of WAEC, Moyosola Adesina, and released on Monday.
According to the statement, the innovation would kick off with the conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates in February 2024.
Two female officials of the Lagos Waste Management Authority, LWMA were knocked down by a vehicle around the Charlie Boy area inward Gbagada, Lagos State, on Monday. An eyewitness disclosed that they two women were hit by a Sienna vehicle while they were carrying out their duty. The eyewitness said, they women died on the spot, while the driver has been arrested and handed over to the police.
