Anambra state governor, Chukwuma Soludo has assured residents facing serious flood threats of urgent help.
Soludo who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Ernest Ezeajughi, gave the assurance when he went on a physical tour of flood devastated areas.
The Governor promised that the state government would liaise with the Federal Government to ensure quick evacuation of people and their property.
Enugu State Police Command has vowed to rid the state of unrepentant criminals. The Command made the vow in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe. According to statement, the visibility patrol tour is aimed at building the confidence of citizens and reassuring them of their security and safety. It, therefore, urged citizens to share information and report any suspected abnormality.
