Ruto Wins Kenyan Presidential Election

Kenyan Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has announced William Ruto winner of the August 9 Presidential Election.

Chairman of the Commission, Wafula Chebukati, who announced the result, revealed that Ruto won 50.49 percent of votes against 48.85 percent for his rival, Raila Odinga.

The President-elect led a tight Presidential race against opposition leader Odinga.
