Police Sends Warning to Politicians

The Nigeria Police Force has advised all Politicians to eschew violence and caution their supporters against threatening voices ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The Force Spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who gave the caution during an interview with newsmen in Abuja, said any threat to life was a criminal offence.

Adejobi urged anyone who felt threatened to report to the Police for necessary action.

Ruto Wins Kenyan Presidential Election

Kenyan Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has announced William Ruto winner of the August 9 Presidential Election. Chairman of the Commission, Wafula Chebukati, who announced the result, revealed that Ruto won 50.49 percent of votes against 48.85 percent for his rival, Raila Odinga. The President-elect led a tight Presidential race against opposition leader Odinga.
