Japan’s Ex-Prime Minister Dies After Gun Attack

Japan’s former Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, who was shot while delivering a speech during a campaign in the City of Nara has died.

A Doctor of the Emergency Medicine at Nara Medical University Hospital, Hidetada Fukushima, confirmed that Abe died while receiving medical treatment in the hospital on Friday.

Meanwhile, Police authority has arrested a 41-year-old man suspected of carrying out the shooting.

Federal Government Declares Fleeing Boko Haram Suspects Wanted

The Federal Government has declared wanted all Boko Haram suspects who fled the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Kuje, Abuja. In a statement issued on Friday, the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, revealed the names and photos of 69 inmates who escaped from the correctional facility following an attack by terrorists. The statement urged Nigerians to report any useful information that would lead to their recapture.
