FCT Minister Condemns Killings At Dei-Dei Market

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Ramatu Aliyu, has condemned the violence and killings at the Dei-Dei market in Abuja.

A statement issued by her Special Assistant on Media, Austine Elemue, appealed for calm and peaceful coexistence among the diverse groups.

The statement called on indigenes and residents to be law-abiding to ensure peace in the Nation’s capital.

Recall that violence erupted at the Dei-Dei market on Wednesday following a clash between commercial motorcyclists and traders, leading to the death of at least five persons.
