Senate seeks to establish National Religious Harmony Commission

The Senate has considered a Bill to establish the National Religious Harmony Commission, NRHC.
The National Religious Harmony Commission Bill which scaled second reading was sponsored by the representative, Kwara North senatorial zone, Sadiq Umar during plenary session in Abuja on Wednesday.
Umar said that the bill seeks to establish the NRHC to serve as an intervention to promote religious tolerance, peace and harmony in Nigeria.
