Osun Government Issues Warning to Land Grabbers

Osun State Government has warned Land grabbers to desist from illegality or face the full wrath of the law.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode.

The statement noted that State Government has been drawn to the actions of certain miscreants harassing land owners and developers in some parts of the State.

It added that security operatives had been directed to arrest and prosecute those found harassing residents of the State.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has met with stakeholders over the re-opening of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge toll plaza. A statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, revealed that Sanwo-Olu met with stakeholders as part of the consultations on the return of tolling to the Ikoyi Link Bridge. The statement noted that the governor agreed to make some concessions after showing evidence of LCC’s financial situation.
